Duties & Responsibilities
Assess psycho-social history of patients/clients;
Record psycho-social history of patients/clients and identify needy clients for psycho- social support;
Verify supportive documents provided by patients/clients;
Collect patient/clients' bio data including relevant interventions;
Sensitize clients on enrolment to NHIF or choice health insurance covers;
Extract psychosocial information from the patient and observation of casual factors which might be useful to the treatment plan;
Implement patients' treatment programs and follow up on discharge;
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- or its equivalent qualification;
Diploma in any of the following fields: Medical Social Work, Social Work, Sociology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Demonstrate professional competence as reflected in work performance and results;
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
