Job specification:
Trade Test preferably Section 13 or Section 26(D).
Must be in possession of an N2 certificate.
Proficiency in English and any other of the 11 official languages
Ability to work flexible hours and perform standby duties.
2-3 years post qualification experience, having worked in a Gold Plant will be advantageous.
Independent judgment, initiative, and outstanding technical and communication skills are required and essential.
Excellent knowledge of surface electrical installations, distribution, and standards.
Depth knowledge of electrical voltages and lock-out procedure
South African Driver's license (Code 8-10) essential

Responsibilities:
Functional support, quality control, and best practices within the Gold Plant section
Specialized knowledge to analyse and solve complex problems.
Perform effective routine maintenance in electrical, planning, and project organization.
Troubleshooting and detailed fault analysis
Ability to make rough sketches, pre-planning, estimate cost, and report to supervisor.
Preventative and scheduled maintenance on switch gears, transformers, and electrical cables
Manage and maintain in area of responsibility in accordance with prescribed standard procedures, specifications, and practices.
