Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Microbiologist with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience to join our team in Ogun State.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological tests, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory standards, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring and water analysis.
Prepare culture media, reagents, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Document and interpret test results accurately.
Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain proper records of laboratory activities and reports.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
2 - 3 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing industry).
Good knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
