Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Officer at Docubox

Role Overview:


The MEL Officer will lead monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems across Docubox's General Call and programmatic work.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and implement impact evaluation frameworks
Track festival and distribution outcomes
Evaluate capacity building programs for filmmakers
Develop data visualizations across themes, gender, and categories
Support organizational learning and strategy development


Requirements:


2 - 5 years' experience in M&E (arts, media, or NGO sector preferred)
Experience with SBCC or narrative impact frameworks
Strong qualitative and quantitative data skills
Understanding of East African film/documentary ecosystem


Contract:

* 1-year fixed term (renewable based on performance)
