Purpose of Assignment
SAMS Foundation is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Volunteer to support our programs by assisting with Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), KIIs, satisfaction survey, translation, and qualitative data analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in M&E within the humanitarian and health sectors.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conduct satisfaction surveys with beneficiaries through phone calls or in-person interviews.
- Support in planning and conducting FGDs, and KIIs with project beneficiaries.
- Translate tools, notes, and reports between Arabic and English (if needed).
- Assist in data entry, coding, and qualitative analysis.
- Contribute to drafting findings and reports with the M&E team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team learning sessions.
Mandatory Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree (or student) in Social Sciences, Development, Public Health, or a related field.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of M&E and data collection methods.
Languages
- Good in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
