Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Science Education, or a relevant field.
Valid teaching certification in Science from an accredited university/college.
Minimum three to five years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the Middle School level.
Experience with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and OpenSciEd.
Cultural proficiency and understanding of intercultural learning, with teaching experience in a multicultural setting.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches aligned with ISK's educational aims, including:
Conceptual and inquiry-based learning
Understanding by Design model (UbD)
Social Emotional Learning
Student-centered approach
Technology Integration
