Job Summary


The National Coordinator will provide leadership and strategic direction for Women in Mechanised Agriculture (WIMA) at the national level.
The role involves coordinating programs that promote women's participation in mechanised agriculture, strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders, and overseeing the implementation of initiatives that empower women farmers through access to modern agricultural technologies, training, and resources.


Key Responsibilities


Coordinate and oversee all WIMA programs, initiatives, and operations nationwide.
Develop and implement strategies that encourage women's participation in mechanised agriculture.
Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, agricultural institutions, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
Coordinate the activities of state and regional WIMA HUBs to ensure alignment with national objectives.
Plan and oversee national workshops, training programs, conferences, and advocacy campaigns.
Facilitate access to mechanised farming equipment, agricultural training, and capacity-building opportunities for women farmers.
Represent WIMA at national and international forums, meetings, and industry events.
Monitor and evaluate programs, ensuring proper documentation and reporting of activities and impact.
Drive membership growth and strengthen engagement within the WIMA network.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.


Qualifications and Skills


Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in program coordination, agricultural development, or women empowerment initiatives.
Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Excellent communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Knowledge of mechanised agriculture systems, policies, and practices is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage national-level programs.
