Role Summary


The National Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of the company's national sales strategy, with full responsibility for revenue growth, market expansion, and team leadership across multiple regions in Nigeria.
This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with strong execution capabilities, a solid background in B2B or SaaS sales, and the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders within the education sector.


Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:


Develop and execute a National Sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives
Drive customer acquisition across private, public, and mission schools nationwide
Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships


Team Leadership & Management:


Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, geographically distributed sales team
Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management


Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management:


Own and deliver on revenue targets and sales forecasts
Oversee the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure
Establish and optimize sales processes, tools, and reporting systems


Stakeholder Engagement:


Build and maintain strong relationships with school proprietors, administrators, and key decision-makers
Represent the company at industry events, education forums, and stakeholder engagements
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to strengthen value propositions


Market Intelligence & Insights:


Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Provide actionable insights to inform product development and positioning
Leverage data and analytics to improve sales performance and acquisition strategies


Key Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
Minimum of 6 years' progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or technology-driven environments
Strong understanding of the Nigerian education sector is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience managing and scaling sales teams across multiple locations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
