As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and visionary National Sales & Marketing Manager to spearhead our commercial operations across Kenya and the East African region.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen market leadership, expand distribution networks, and build sustainable customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:


Develop and execute the company's national sales and marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and market share expansion.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Sales and Marketing team.
Establish and manage strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, institutional customers, and other key accounts.
Develop and implement effective Modern Trade and General Trade strategies.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
Lead product launches, brand positioning, trade marketing, merchandising, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement activities.
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, e-commerce growth, SEO, social media strategy, and online brand visibility.
Monitor market trends, customer insights, pricing, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and commercial reports.
Work collaboratively with Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other departments to ensure achievement of company objectives.
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Ensure effective sales planning, route-to-market optimization, and distributor performance management.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and business performance analysis to senior management.


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
MBA will be an added advantage.
Professional membership in a relevant professional body is desirable.
Valid driving licence.


Experience


Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership position.
Experience within FMCG, Animal Nutrition, Animal Feed, Manufacturing, Agribusiness, or a related industry is highly preferred.
