JOB SUMMARY


The Network Analyst supports Air Peace's network planning and scheduling function by providing detailed analysis of route performance, market demand, and operational data.
The role ensures that scheduling and network decisions are data-driven, commercially viable, and aligned with the airline's strategic objectives. The analyst works closely with the Supervisor, Manager, and cross- functional teams to optimize network efficiency and profitability.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1 RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Network Analysis


Analyze route performance metrics including load factors, revenue, RASK, and yield.
Monitor competitor networks, frequencies, and market share to identify opportunities.
Evaluate route feasibility and provide recommendations for network adjustments or expansions.
Support scenario modelling for new route launches or schedule changes.


Schedule Support


Assist in the development and optimization of flight schedules in coordination with the Scheduling team.
Analyze schedule performance and provide insights to improve aircraft utilization, connectivity, and revenue.
Support adjustments to schedules based on demand patterns, fleet availability, and operational constraints.


Data & Reporting


Prepare regular reports on network performance, route profitability, and capacity utilization.
Maintain accurate records of network and schedule data, analyses, and recommendations.
Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions, business cases, and management requests.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


Work closely with Revenue Management, Pricing, Operations, and
Commercial teams to align network planning with commercial strategies.
Provide analytical support for route planning, schedule optimization, and fleet deployment decisions.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to Supervisors and Managers.


Continuous Improvement


Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve network performance and analytical processes.
Support the implementation of system upgrades, automation tools, and analytics enhancements.
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices in airline network planning and scheduling.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field.
1—3 years' experience in airline network planning, commercial analysis, or revenue management preferred.
Familiarity with airline scheduling software, Excel, and data analysis tools.
Basic understanding of fleet utilization, route economics, and network optimization principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
Commercial awareness and understanding of airline network economics
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS


Accuracy and timeliness of network and route analysis - deliver 100% of scheduled route and network analysis reports within agreed timelines (e.g., weekly/monthly), maintaining at least 98% data accuracy based on internal audit checks per quarter.
Contribution to optimized schedules and aircraft utilization - provide analytical recommendations that lead to a minimum 3—5% improvement in aircraft
utilization and 2% reduction in schedule-related inefficiencies within each planning cycle (quarterly/seasonal).
Identification of network opportunities and revenue enhancement recommendations - identify and document at least 3 actionable network improvement or revenue-enhancing opportunities per quarter, with implementation success rate of 50% or higher by the Network Planning team.
