Overview
Our client is seeking highly skilled Senior Network Engineers to join their onsite infrastructure support and engineering environment. The successful consultants will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support across enterprise networking environments while supplementing the existing permanent support team.
This role will primarily focus on resolving 1st line support escalations, while also contributing to strategic networking projects, including network design, implementation, automation, security, troubleshooting, optimisation, and ongoing management of local and wide-area networks, including Cisco ACI environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to professionals with deep Cisco Data Centre expertise and strong operational support capability within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite Tier 2 and Tier 3 network support during business hours
Support and resolve escalated 1st line networking incidents and service requests
Participate in infrastructure and network transformation projects
Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network solutions
Support Cisco ACI environments and related Data Centre technologies
Assist with network troubleshooting, optimisation, monitoring, and performance tuning
Contribute to network security, governance, and operational best practices
Develop and maintain technical standards, operational guides, and support documentation
Work closely with internal infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Support network automation, orchestration, and virtualisation initiatives
Assist with WAN/LAN management and Data Centre networking operations
Minimum Requirements
Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification - CCIE Data Centre
Minimum 5 years of practical enterprise networking experience
Strong hands-on experience supporting Cisco Data Centre technologies
Proven experience with:
Cisco ACI
Network Virtualisation
Network Automation and Orchestration
Data Centre Security
Minimum 5 years of practical working knowledge in:
Cisco Prime
Cisco DNA Centre (DNAC)
Cisco Nexus Dashboard
Experience in enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution capability
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure operational support environment
Excellent documentation and communication skills

Cisco Wireless certification
Experience with scripting and network automation tools
Exposure to enterprise monitoring and observability platforms
