Job Description


We are seeking to employ a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Nurse and Midwife to provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.


Job Summary


Provide quality nursing care to patients.
Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
Monitor and document patient conditions.
Assist physicians during procedures and emergencies.
Educate patients and families on healthcare management.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care.


Key Responsibilities


Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor patients' vital signs and health conditions, documenting observations accurately.
Administer medications, injections, intravenous infusions, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and medical emergencies.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and infection prevention protocols.
Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in health conditions.
Collect and process laboratory specimens as required.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain medical equipment and ensure proper use of healthcare resources.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and continuous professional development activities.
Uphold patient confidentiality and professional nursing ethics at all times.


Qualifications & Requirements


RN and RM or any other specialty with Valid Nursing Practicing License.
Computer literacy.
NYSC certificate is a must.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations.
Strong attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism.
