Duties and Responsibilities


Implementing nutrition programs;
Providing nutrition services in health care facilities;
Conducting nutrition assessments;
Collecting and compiling nutrition data;
Providing nutrition, health education and demonstrations;
Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs;
Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds implementing;
Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programs and
Providing micronutrient supplementation.
Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.


Requirement for Appointment

A candidate must have:


Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
KCPE and KCSE Certificate (Attach evidence)
Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution,
Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionist and Dietician (CIND).
At least one (1 )year post registration experience (Attach evidence)
