Position Overview:
We seek a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational therapist, who will be tasked with the operation and administration of Occupational therapy to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, psychological, and sensory-motor capabilities, as well as their environments.
Interpret assessment results to determine the patient's functional needs and establish patient-centered, measurable, and realistic treatment goals.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing purposeful and meaningful activities (occupations).
Provide skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, activity modification, sensory integration techniques, and cognitive rehabilitation.
Educate and train patients and their families/caregivers on therapeutic techniques, use of adaptive equipment, and strategies for environmental modifications.
Collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team (including Doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapist, Dietician, Nurses) to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment.
Select, recommend, and fabricate adaptive equipment and assistive technology (e.g., splints, mobility aids, dressing aids) and train patients on their correct use.
Accurately and timely document patient progress, treatments, billing, and all other clinical activities in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Participate in patient case conferences, team meetings, and discharge planning.
Qualifications:
Occupational therapy license
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Occupational therapy.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work independently
