Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Occupational Therapy or its approved equivalent froma recognizedinstitution.
Must be registered with the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association.
Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning, supervision for provision of occupational therapy services at an outpatient department or ward in a hospital or Community based Rehabilitation
Assessing patients' needs for Rehabilitation;
Acquiring, verifying and maintaining information and data relating to patients,
Maintaining records of relevant departmental supplies including finished articles madeinOccupational Therapy section.
Assessing and formulating patient's treatment plan
Maintaining records and data relating to patients;
Collecting data for operational research;
Sensitizing the community on occupational therapy issues; and preparing periodicreports
