Full-time
On-site
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic Offline Events & Field Marketing Specialist to plan and execute on-ground marketing activities across Nigeria. You will be the face of our brand at events, activations, and community engagements — driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer loyalty through memorable offline experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute offline marketing events including product launches, roadshows, campus activations, trade shows, community outreach, and promotional campaigns in Lagos and other key Nigerian cities
Identify high-traffic venues and strategic locations (malls, campuses, markets, motor parks, corporate hubs) for brand activations and guerrilla marketing
Manage end-to-end event logistics: venue booking, permits and local approvals, vendor negotiation, staffing, equipment, transport, and on-site setup
Recruit, train, and supervise brand ambassadors and event staff; ensure professional on-ground representation of the brand
Design and distribute offline marketing materials (flyers, banners, branded merchandise, POS materials)
Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, venue owners, community leaders, schools, and local partners across Nigeria
Capture leads on-site and ensure smooth handover to the sales/CRM team for follow-up and conversion tracking
Track event budgets, measure ROI (foot traffic, leads collected, conversions, brand recall), and deliver post-event reports with actionable insights
Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and brand safety standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
2 - 4 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or promotions, ideally within Nigeria
Strong existing network of vendors, venues, and field staff in Lagos (and ideally Abuja, Port Harcourt, or Ibadan)
Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with diverse communities and stakeholders
Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with lead capture tools is a plus
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Nigerian Pidgin or a major local language is strongly preferred
