The Operations Assistant will act as the right hand tthe COO.The Operations Assistant will work on projects and tasks within each of the departments, with the guidance and mentorship of the COO. The role ensures effective, efficient, and compliant operations that support the company's goals of reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and improving quality across all six departments. The role will be continuously changing, requiring an adaptive mind whexcels with many different diverse tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive instructions/guidance from the COO, and then complete small, medium and large sized projects across the company. Own the projects. Examples:
Evaluating the use of casuals at the factory
Considering new and or different equipment timprove efficiency
Reviewing and improving customer facing documents
Reviewing and improving training material
Field visits tidentify areas for improvement on sourcing and logistics
Ensuring that the technology is being properly utilized/maximized
Perform operational checks on any of the major initiatives within the company.
Follow/shadow the COO, ensuring that all tasks that gbeyond his capacity tfollow up are completed well and on schedule.
Consistently identify opportunities for increased efficiencies, improved quality, reduced waste.
Work and communicate collaboratively and cordially with each of the other major departments to ensure congeniality and effectiveness.

Evidence of professional excellence in one or many fields relevant tthe client
Min 5 years' experience succeeding in a fast-paced environment, with proof or project/departmental ownership.
Fluent in Kiswahili and English.
