Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive Operations/Control Officer to support the effective coordination, monitoring, and control of daily business operations.
The successful candidate will monitor operational activities, ensure compliance with company procedures, identify discrepancies or operational issues, maintain accurate records, and work with relevant departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily operational activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct routine checks on operations, inventory, documentation, and business processes.
Identify and report operational discrepancies, irregularities, and control issues.
Monitor stock movement, product handling, and documentation where required.
Ensure proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of operational activities.
Conduct regular checks and reconciliations to identify errors or discrepancies.
Monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established operational standards.
Prepare and submit regular operational and control reports to management.
Follow up on identified issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and other relevant departments to improve efficiency and maintain proper controls.
Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify recurring operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
Assist management in monitoring compliance and improving overall operational efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience is an added advantage.
Good understanding of business operations and internal controls.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively with different departments.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
