Job Summary


Operations Manager oversees daily business activities, focusing on optimizing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring efficiency across departments.
They are responsible for supply chain management, budgeting, staffing, and compliance with company policies to meet strategic goals.
Key duties include enhancing performance, reducing costs, and facilitating communication between teams.


Key Responsibilities


Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Process Optimization: Improve operational systems, procedures, and best practices to maximize efficiency and output.
Daily Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, high-quality production of goods or services.
Financial & Budget Control: Monitor and control costs, manage budgets, and analyze financial data to improve profitability.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage procurement, inventory levels, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff to achieve performance targets.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
Strategic Planning: Support senior management by developing and implementing strategic initiatives to meet company objectives.


Performance Indicators (KPIs)


Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Budget variance.
Inventory turnover rate.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Operational cost reduction.


Key Skills & Qualifications


Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
Leadership: Strong team management and mentoring abilities.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and process improvement.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with business management software, data analysis, and KPIs.
