Requirements :
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification. Experience working in a dental clinic or hospital environment, will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Administrative task-Record instrument and hand pieces as requested.Record Atest results from the 1st load of instruments that are been sterilised daily.Records cycles start time to end time of autoclave used.
Record sets requested in clinical areas and surgeries.Decontamination process-Process of cleaning to be followed soaking instruments using detergent (instrument cleaner)
Drying,wrapping, packing of instrument following guide's for different sets, Use of Acceptor bag . Use of Autoclave tape ,sterilisation using autoclave,packing instrument at the sterile room .Ordering linen .
Packing linen room.Disinfecting hand piece.Oiling using manual process( Kavo spray) or machinery .Washing dental trays,packing and sterilizing.
