Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Diagnose visual problems and eye conditions.
Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses).
Detect and manage ocular diseases and refer complex cases appropriately.
Provide patient education on eye health and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Participate in outreach programs and eye screening initiatives when required.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Kenya.
At least 2 years' clinical experience in a busy healthcare setting (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and patient-centered approach.
Ability to work within a faith-based healthcare environment.
