Orthopaedic Technologist[1] - AN- Scale -KMTC 9 - 2 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

Duties at this level will include: documenting of patient history and diagnosis; Examining the patient/client to determine the cause and level of disability; Prescribing, fabricating and assembling prosthetic/orthotic devices; Preparing and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices; Advising patients/clients on the importance of mobility and immobilization devices; Screening patients/clients for the conditions that require rehabilitative services; Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients; and Maintaining records of supplies.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:


Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology or its equivalent from a recognised institution;
Must be registered with National Association Orthopedics of Kenya; and
Proficiency in computer application.
