We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Overseas Sales Team Leader to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. In this first-line management role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by helping SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in the foreign trade sector navigate cross-border transactions. You will lead your team through a blend of telemarketing and face-to-face meetings to promote suite of cross-border collection, payment, foreign exchange settlement, and risk control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, coach, and manage a team of 5-10 sales representatives, fostering a high-energy, competitive, and collaborative team culture.
Take full ownership of the team's daily sales process management, including tracking performance data and ensuring adherence to sales activity standards.
Conduct regular field coaching and joint visits to help team members close deals and overcome customer objections.
Boost team morale, motivate staff, and maintain a positive work environment to encourage a "can-do" attitude.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute localized go-to-market plans to acquire new B2B merchant clients (SME exporters).
Drive customer acquisition through a combination of high-volume telemarketing and strategic in-person visits.
Analyze client needs within the export trade sector to provide tailored cross-border payment solutions that help customers grow their international business.
Utilize data analytics to improve sales efficiency, optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and refine sales strategies.
Business Development & Network:
Leverage your understanding of the local market to build a robust sales pipeline and identify high-potential merchants.
Maintain and grow a personal network of B2B traders, service providers, and industry associations to generate leads and build partnerships.
Explore hands-on social media-driven customer acquisition strategies to supplement traditional sales channels.
Communication & Reporting:
Clearly communicate company strategy, policy updates, and product developments to the team in a timely manner.
Act as the bridge between the frontline team and upper management by providing regular reports on team performance, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Requirement:
Education: Associate degree or above
Management Experience: Minimum 2+ years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team of at least 5 members.
Industry Preference: Candidates with a background in B2B sales (SaaS, Fintech, Taxation, Cross-border Logistics) are highly preferred.
Sales Mentality: Strong results-orientation with a passion for sales. Must be self-motivated, ambitious, and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Resilience & Drive: Must be willing to face challenges, work hard, and possess a strong desire to achieve both personal and team goals.
Communication: Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Local Network (Bonus): Existing business relationships with B2B traders or a network within the SME exporter community is a significant plus.
Digital Savviness (Bonus): Hands-on experience with social media-driven customer acquisition is preferred.
Remuneration: 521,000.00 gross salary with other commissions.
