The Key Purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment and related processes in order to achieve optimal effectivenessÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Operating equipment and manage associated processes & performance in packagingÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Interpret and implement production plan for shiftÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Operate manual and automatic machines online as per standardsÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Ensure process quality and productivityÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Perform administration work such as tracking and monitoring of processes and take action when requiredÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Manage PIMS & POMS and take corrective action on negative trendsÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Use of OFR's (As per triggers)ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Contribute towards AB reports as requiredÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environmentÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Alternatively, a relevant post-secondary technical qualification (N4 or equivalent).
IOB Certificate is an added advantage.
1 - 3 years' experience operating packaging equipment in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Experience in beverage, brewing, or food manufacturing will be an added advantage.ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
