Job Purpose
The Packaging Technologist Intern will support the Packaging Development team in the design, evaluation, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions. The incumbent will assist with packaging trials, material assessments, quality evaluations, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining practical experience in packaging technology and manufacturing processes.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Packaging Technology, Food Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field.
No prior work experience required; academic or vacation work exposure advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Assist packaging development projects.
Support testing and line trials.
Maintain specifications and reports.
Support quality, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and Skills
Basic understanding of packaging materials and testing.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accurate trial reporting.
Timely documentation updates.
Compliance with quality and safety requirements.
