Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Assess, diagnose, and treat paediatric illnesses and medical conditions.
Provide newborn assessment and neonatal care, including care for babies delivered in the hospital.
Monitor growth and developmental milestones.
Manage paediatric emergencies and provide timely clinical interventions.
Educate and counsel parents on child health, nutrition, vaccination, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the hospital EMR system.
Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Requirements
MBBS from a recognized institution.
Fellowship in Paediatrics (FWACP or FMCPaed).
Valid Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) practicing license.
3 - 5 years post-specialization experience is an advantage.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
