Job Description :
This is an opportunity for a dynamic Financial Planner / Paraplanner to join a well-established office. In this role, the financial planner will assist the financial advisor in all respects.
This includes financial planning for new clients, reviews, and client appointments. The role requires significant client interaction. The planner is not required to source their own clients, though this remains an option
Responsibilities:
Financial advice and planning
Prompt handling of client queries
Continuous process development
Continuous self-development and staying up to date with the latest legislation and market developments
Minimum requirements:
BCom (Finance / Business Finance / Investments / Financial Planning / Financial Sciences or Investment Management or BCom (Economics)
CFP and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (Requirement)
Valid RE5 certificate
At least 3 years relevant work experience within the financial industry
Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South Africa languages
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Competencies required:
Analytical thinking
Client service
Presentation skills
Analytical skills
Ability to work in a team
