Our Client in the Automotive industry has a new vacancy for a Part Salesman based in Cape Town - Kraaifontein
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell parts and related services to both existing and prospective customers.
Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through professional and responsive service.
Deliver exceptional customer service by demonstrating a proactive and customer-focused approach at all times.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and concerns efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Manage and monitor all back orders, providing customers with accurate daily updates and feedback.
Assist customers in identifying the correct parts by effectively using parts catalogues and technical resources.
Prepare and process sales quotations, estimates, picking slips, internal transfers, and invoices accurately and timeously.
Process internal and external parts invoices in accordance with branch requirements and procedures.
Follow up on outstanding back orders daily to ensure prompt resolution and customer communication.
Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
Participate in the standby and after-hours parts sales support roster as required.
Attend weekly management meetings and assist in resolving parts-related issues.
Support stock takes and inventory control activities when required.
Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by management.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar parts sales or customer service role.
Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Computer literacy and experience working with sales and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
