Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 - 4 years' professional pastry experience, preferably within hotels, restaurants, or reputable bakeries
Previous experience as Pastry Chef de Partie, Senior Pastry Chef de Partie, or Pastry Sous Chef in a moderately busy kitchen
Strong knowledge of classic pastry, basic bakery production, cakes, plated desserts, and buffet presentation
Ability to manage daily pastry production, maintain consistency, and meet service timelines
Demonstrated ability to supervise junior kitchen staff and work effectively within a team
Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to control costs, minimize wastage, and manage inventory efficiently
