The Individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:


Provide team members and supervisors with assistance as and when required and within own area of competence to assist in the achievement of team objectives.
Process all documentation according to company policies and procedures as well as document control principles, within specified set time frames to ensure compliance.
Administer salary payments.
Capture and update employee personal information on payroll system and personal file.
Structure employees' packages by provides guidance to employees in respect of the application, administration and interpretation of the Company's benefit funds and rules.
Administer COIDA processes
Reconcile and pay third parties, such as PAYE, UIF, SDL, Medical Aid and Provident Fund.
Handle staff queries with regards to salaries and payments.
Ensure compliance with required standards and deadlines.
Assist finance and auditors with payroll related information.
Distribute IRP 5's to employee and ex-employees.
Assist with pay slips when required.
Distribute provident fund statements and increase letters.
Facilitate and administer death claims and disability benefits.
Liaise with fund and family to ensure funeral claims are paid within 24 hours.
Load and process payments on the Banking system.
Upon termination of employees ensure that withdrawal forms are send and received from employees and submitted within the payment period.
Check onboarding files received from recruitment.
Check and verify payroll processing files.
Link all new employees' salary and benefits on the ERP system.
Leave administration to ensure employees are paid correctly.
Compile and submit the quarterly Stats SA survey.
Respond to Audit requests and Queries
Ensure that employee Records are maintained
Participate in identifying risks within area of responsibility
Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal and external relations.
Provide relevant support to stakeholders to ensure team objectives are achieved.
Liaise with internal employees and external service providers with regards to payroll issues.
Induct employees on payroll, benefits and IOD policies and procedures


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
Minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources, IT or Finance is mandatory
Minimum of three (3) years operational administration experience is mandatory
Minimum of three (3) years operational payroll experience is mandatory
