Description


Oversees and directs payroll team activities to ensure accurate and timely processing, payment, and administration of remuneration and related matters.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Supervise and lead a team of payroll and/or wage administrators
Process payrolls for weekly and monthly-paid employees in SA and BLNE
Ensure payroll compliance and audit requirements are met
Review and improve payroll processes
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders
Compile monthly reports
Support People Support teams
Ad hoc responsibilities


Requirements


Tertiary education (Finance or Information systems or HR qualification)
5 years proven payroll process and audit control experience, of which 3 years should include the management of teams
Proficiency in the SAGE payroll system or a similar payroll system and accounting interfaces
Advanced Excel/Google sheets skills
Extensive knowledge of BCEA; EEA; Labour Relations Acts
BLNE payroll experience will be advantageous
Confidentiality and protection of personal information
Numerical aptitude and analytical skills to process large volumes of data
