Role Overview
Our client is a senior international executive relocating to Nairobi to establish a new operation and is seeking a highly organised and dependable Personal Assistant to provide day-to-day executive and operational support. The role will manage the CEO's diary, travel, correspondence, stakeholder coordination, and practical logistics while supporting the establishment of the new office. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive professional who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, correspondence, and day-to-day schedule
Coordinate local and international travel, accommodation, visas, transport, and detailed itineraries
Support the establishment and smooth running of the new office, including equipment, supplies, and administrative requirements
Coordinate meetings with local and international stakeholders, prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items
Act as a trusted point of contact for the CEO, exercising discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential matters
Liaise with local partners, service providers, and UK-based colleagues across different time zones
Provide practical logistical and settling-in support as the CEO establishes operations in Kenya
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a senior administrative support role, preferably supporting senior leadership
Proven ability to manage complex schedules, travel arrangements, correspondence, and multiple competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior and international stakeholders
Highly organised, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
High level of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and business communication applications
Flexibility and willingness to support practical day-to-day operational requirements as needed
