Summary of the Role:
Receive and process orders delivered to the Pharmacy Department in accordance with procedures and documentation requirements.
Counsel patients on drug administration for optimum customer satisfaction.
Check expiry dates of all incoming stock and document short-dated stock.
Dispense drugs accurately and in a timely manner to uphold quality standards of the department.
Ensure the accuracy of the labels referencing respective prescription before dispensing for the right patient, right drug and right quantity, for effective patient care.

Diploma in Pharmacy.
Enrolled with Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Professional Annual Practice License.
Member of Kenya Pharmaceutical Association.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an inpatient/outpatient setting.
Knowledge of the hospital management information system (CARE 2000) is an added advantage.
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the values of the hospital.
Familiarity with locally available drugs and their indications.
