About the role
We're looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Medirite Philippi. In this role, you'll lead a dedicated pharmacy team, drive operational excellence, and ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services while maintaining compliance and business performance.
What you'll do
You will be required to:
Dispense medication accurately and provide exceptional customer service.
Manage pharmacy administration, stock control, housekeeping, sales, and marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all legal, professional, and company requirements.
Plan, prioritise, and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
Monitor performance, manage budgets, and resolve operational challenges.
Build effective relationships with prescribers, suppliers, store management, and support teams.
Coach, mentor, and develop pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy support staff.
Drive a positive, high-performance culture through leadership, motivation, and accountability.
What you bring
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree/ equivalent qualification.
Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
A PCDT (Primary Care Drug Therapy) qualification.
Registered as a tutor.
