Responsibilities
Answering prescription-related questions
Educating patients and caregivers on the appropriate use of medication, including frequency and method of intake or application
Helping patients purchase their prescriptions
Answering the pharmacy phone
Helping patients locate over-the-counter medications
Referring patients to the pharmacist for more in-depth medical questions related to prescriptions
Managing Pharmacy inventory
Processing medical insurance claims
Esuring medications are properly stored.,
Filling and labelling of medical containers.
Maintaining of sufficient stock of all needed medications.
Checking the quality and the sources of drugs before dispensing
To ensure and adhere to standard pharmacy safety measures and checks, etc.
Qualifications
Academic: Minimum academic qualification of Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
Professional License: Must have a valid and updated practicing license
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years of working experience.
Computer skills: Candidate must have good knowledge of computer
Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the relevant professional body.
