JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Assist the Pharmacist in carrying out the day to day Pharmacy activities.
Maintain patient and medication records
Manage inventory by monitoring and ensuring adequate levels of pharmacy consumables, medical consumables and routine drugs;
Monitor the temperature of the Refrigerator for proper storage of
pharmaceutical products;
Drugs date check
Interpreting prescriptions, costing and filling of prescriptions.
Shelving and disbursement of medications
Preparing labels, calculating quantities, assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
Verifying the accuracy of patient information and recording on the Center EMR and other software.
Counting prescription medication, filing prescriptions, typing and attaching medication labels.
Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication.
Ensures medication availability;
Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information
Weekly submission of drugs status report as required
Weekly submission of essential / emergency drugs status report
Perform other duties as maybe assignment within the unit;


JOB REQUIREMENT


Possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from any recognized school of health
Minimum of HND in any discipline.
Must be computer literate
Must be proficient in typing
Self-motivated and good attitude to work, flexible and organized
Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency
and accuracy at all times.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Must have basic skills in drug dispensing and counseling
Must have good Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
Good oral and written communication skills, problem solving and good
team player.
Must be resident in Lagos
