Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmaceutical department in providing excellent patient care.


Key Responsibilities


Assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately to patients.
Maintaining and organizing pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
Preparing prescription labels and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Processing patient prescriptions and managing point-of-sale transactions.
Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with hospital standards.
Providing basic counseling to patients on drug usage as directed by the Pharmacist.


Requirements


Education: Must possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a recognized School of Health Technology.
Registration: Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and possess a valid practicing license.
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer operations.
Must be a team player with a high level of integrity.
Note: Candidates must reside within or very close to Uromi.
