Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to support our pharmacy operations by accurately entering prescription and patient information into our system.
The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and assist in improving workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter prescription details into the pharmacy management system
Verify patient information, medication details, and dosage instructions
Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy
Communicate with pharmacists to resolve discrepancies or missing information
Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure data integrity
Handle insurance and billing data entry where applicable
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and confidentiality standards
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technician studies or a related field
Previous experience in a pharmacy or data entry role is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Basic knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical terminology
Proficiency in computer systems and data entry tools
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
