Requirements for Appointment
Be a Citizen of Kenya;
Diploma in any of the following areas: Urban and Regional Planning, Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Building, Civil Engineering, Cartography, Geo- informatics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from a recognized institution; and
Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Carrying out drawing tasks;
Collecting and analysing geographical data for preparation;
Digitizing physical development plans;
Drawing physical development plans of small centers from sketches; and
Updating plans; and
Conducting site inspections.
