Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans aligned to rehabilitation goals
Attend daily interdisciplinary team meetings
Attend family meetings
Manage patient progress, outcomes, and adjustments to treatment plans
Provide patient and family education on rehabilitation and ongoing care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
Support administrative processes within the practice, including patient coordination and reporting
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care delivery
Ensure adherence to clinical governance, safety, and professional standards
Contribute to the overall efficiency and structure of the practice
Assist with the allocation of patient load
Manage the locum roster
Meet with referring specialists
Conduct team meetings
Conduct incident investigations
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy
HPCSA registered and in good standing
Valid medical malpractice insurance
Experience & Knowledge
7 - 10 years' relevant physiotherapy experience
Strong rehabilitation experience (essential)
Experience within private practice environments
Experience in sub-acute or multidisciplinary settings advantageous
Managerial or supervisory experience advantageous
Advanced certifications or postgraduate qualifications advantageous
