Job Purpose
To provide high-quality physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment aimed at restoring function, relieving pain, preventing disability, and improving patients overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Administer physiotherapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation, prevention, and home-based care programs.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure adherence to infection prevention, safety, and professional standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure proper utilization.
Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy healthcare setting.
Registered with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
Valid practicing license
