Picking Clerk (Automotive)-Mombasa-40k at Sheer Logic

Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Picking Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely picking and issuing of parts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.


Responsibilities:


Timely picking and binning of parts in the warehouse.
Logging failed picks and escalating to the warehouse coordinator.
Filing approved picking documents for future reference.
Updating pick time templates and replenishing bins from bulk storage.
Flagging critical parts shortages and initiating replenishment requests.
Driving a safety culture by using PPE and reporting incidents.
Participating in 5S implementation and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Ensuring proper stacking, palletizing, and movement of goods.
Delivering excellent customer service.


Qualifications


Diploma in Automotive or Business-related field.
CIPS or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
Basic computer and numerical skills.
Knowledge of SAP systems.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
