Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for major oil and gas projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, progress measurement, schedule analysis, forecasting, reporting, and supporting project controls to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Prepare project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution schedules.
Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend recovery plans.
Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
Conduct schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and critical path analysis.
Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams.
Support project controls by monitoring project performance against approved schedules.
Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule updates to stakeholders.
Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years' planning experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPIC projects.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and project controls.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Willing to relocate.
