Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
7-10 years of engineering experience in FMCG manufacturing, including at least 5 years in beverage manufacturing.
Proven experience managing high-speed beverage production lines, plant utilities, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, SAP maintenance modules, troubleshooting, RCA, and equipment reliability.
Experience leading engineering teams and implementing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, OEE, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Maintenance Management: Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
Reliability & Utilities: Manage equipment performance, root cause analysis, reliability improvement, and critical plant utilities including boilers, compressors, refrigeration, water treatment, and power systems.
Projects, CAPEX & Spare Parts: Oversee engineering projects, equipment installations, plant modifications, CAPEX requirements, spare parts availability, and engineering budgets. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
Ensure engineering operations comply with HSE, food safety, GMP, and environmental standards while driving Lean, TPM, 5S, OEE, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
Team Leadership & Systems: Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams, maintain technical competency, and ensure accurate maintenance records and SAP system updates.
