JOB POSITION: PLANT LAYOUT DESIGNER
Plant Layout Design


Develop and maintain the overall plant master layout of cement plant or heavy industries.
Adapt standard equipment designs to fit the project's specific topography.
Incorporate access and maintenance routing into the layout.
Ensure compliance with design standards, tolerances and regulations.
Integrating civil foundation footprints and structural contours into the mechanical layout.


Specialized Equipment and Machinery Modelling


Prepare 2D and 3D drawings.
Draft structural and mechanical interfaces
Design material handling system.


Vendor Engineering Management


Vendor drawing reconciliation and manage drawing version controls.
Review, verify vendor drawings to ensure they match project technical specifications.
Map out mechanical, structural and electrical interface points between vendor supplied machinery and engineering drawings.
Generate bill of materials as per drawing specifications.


Requirements


Diploma in mechanical drafting or related field.
Strong knowledge of plant layout, GA drawing review.
Proficiency in AUTOCAD.
Experience 7-12 years
