Overview
Omnia Agriculture is looking for a Plant Operator to support the safe production, loading, and offloading of fertiliser products and raw materials. The role requires a hands-on individual with chemical production experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to perform administrative and computer-related tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Matric with Mathematics and Science
NQF 4 or Chemical Operations qualification (advantageous)
2 - 3 years' experience in a chemical production environment
Computer literacy
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with SHEQ, safety, environmental, and site security requirements.
Operate plant equipment to produce and load liquid fertiliser.
Offload raw materials and safely handle N-Gas.
Perform in-process quality checks and follow testing procedures.
Operate and monitor production-related computer systems.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant.
Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.
Participate in off-season maintenance projects.
