Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plantation Farm Manager with strong Agronomy expertise to lead the development and management of our oil palm plantation operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, establishment, maintenance, and harvesting of oil palm plantations.
Drive agronomic best practices across nursery, field development, crop maintenance, and yield optimization.
Develop and implement plantation work plans, budgets, and operational targets.
Manage field teams, contractors, and plantation resources to achieve productivity goals.
Monitor soil health, fertilizer application, pest and disease management programs.
Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Build and maintain positive relationships with host communities and key stakeholders.
Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in plantation management, preferably within the oil palm industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of plantation establishment, crop management, agronomic practices, and yield optimization.
Strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and people management skills.
Experience managing large field operations and agricultural workforces.
Proficiency in agricultural reporting and plantation performance monitoring.
Knowledge of GIS, mapping, and other agricultural technologies will be an added advantage.
