Role Summary:
The Pricing Officer will support Termii Group by developing, reviewing, and optimising pricing models across all company products and services.
This includes CPaaS products such as SMS, Voice, USSD, whatsAPP, etc. and communication APIs, as well as emerging business lines including MVNO services, digital connectivity solutions, and other telecom infrastructure offerings within the group.
The role is execution focused and commercially driven.
You will ensure that pricing supports revenue growth, protects margin, and remains competitive across different markets and product lines.
You will work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Finance, Product, and Network teams to translate commercial strategy into profitable pricing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop pricing structures for Termii products, including SMS, Voice, USSD, communication APIs, and other CPaaS services
Support pricing development for new business lines such as MVNO services, telecom infrastructure, and connectivity solutions
Build financial models to simulate revenue, cost, and margin impact for new products and commercial proposals
Support enterprise bids, partnership proposals, and commercial negotiations with structured pricing templates
Analyse vendor rates, carrier pricing, interconnect charges, and regulatory fees to inform pricing decisions
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends within the telecom and CPaaS ecosystem
Track performance of existing pricing plans and recommend adjustments based on usage behaviour, cost changes, and margin performance
Work with Finance and Product teams to validate assumptions around traffic forecasts, ARPU, and cost of service
Support vendor negotiations by providing cost impact analysis and pricing benchmarks
Maintain pricing documentation, approval workflows, and internal governance records across the Termii Group
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of experience in pricing, telecom commercial analysis, CPaaS platforms, technology services or banking.
Good understanding of telecom and communication service cost structures, including messaging, voice termination, interconnect, and infrastructure costs
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills using Excel or similar tools
Ability to analyse usage data, CDR reports, and traffic trends
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
Ability to communicate pricing insights clearly to both technical and commercial stakeholders
Degree in Telecommunications, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
