We are a growing British curriculum nursery and primary school in Ibadan committed to excellence in teaching, learning and pupil development.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:


A degree in Education, Primary Education Studies or a related discipline.
A minimum of three years\' post-NYSC teaching experience with primary-aged pupils, preferably within a British or international curriculum setting.
Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum, particularly in English, Mathematics and Science.
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to establish a purposeful, respectful and engaging learning environment.
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and confidence using digital tools to support teaching, learning and administration.
A sound understanding of assessment, pupil progress tracking and effective feedback practices.
A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to pupil welfare and protection.
A genuine passion for teaching, learning and holistic pupil development.
TRCN certification will be considered an added advantage.
Applicants must reside in Ibadan and be able to commute conveniently to Jericho.


The Role

The Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and creating a structured, engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes both academic excellence and personal development.

Key responsibilities include:


Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress through accurate marking, feedback and appropriate intervention.
Creating and maintaining a well-organised, stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and independence.
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement at all times.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating effectively with parents to support pupil success.
Contributing positively to the wider life, culture and values of the school.


Remuneration

₦130,000 - ₦170,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability for the role.

Start Date

This position is for a September 2026 start.
