Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Procurement CapEx Coordinator, to join the Procurement team at CCBSA.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Bid Management


Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Vet supplier Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) status before inviting potential vendors for bidding.
Search for potential suppliers within preferred lists and identify additional suppliers if required.
Facilitate clarification of technical questions between internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Follow up on technical evaluations with stakeholders to ensure tendering timelines are met.
Execute the negotiation process, choose the appropriate supplier, and establish terms and conditions.


CapEx Procurement & Financial Governance


Ensure CapEx is sourced within the approved budget and project plan.
Maintain adherence to company policy/procedure (e.g., Risk and Control Matrix, Local Chart of Authority, General Ledger adherence).
Execute the Procurement action plan to improve the Procurement Capex plan at a regional level.
Ensure documentation is sent for approval in accordance with the Local Chart of Authority (LCOA) (e.g., DD3/Sourcing Recommendation).
Optimal purchasing of capital goods/services to ensure the best quality, price, and supplier match.


Contract Lifecycle Management


Ensure effective contract management, including uploading files to the CLM platform.
Maintain expertise in specialized contract solutions (e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC, JBCC, and MSA).
Deliver sourcing results that contribute to savings targets while ensuring SLAs are achieved.


Transactional Purchasing & PO Administration


Manage requisition changes and/or close Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
Manage PO changes against supplier or user requests while ensuring policy adherence.


Performance Management & Continuous Improvement


Support reporting activities and performance management by identifying issues and closing gaps.
Improve customer service in support of individual program targets.


Skills, Experience & Education
Education


National Diploma or Degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering.


Experience


2-4 years of experience in operational procurement roles.
Knowledge of procurement (end-to-end) processes.
Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) 365 knowledge.
Experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) procurement environment
In-depth knowledge of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment codes to vet and score suppliers accurately.


Skills


Advanced skills in systems like Microsoft Dynamics for PO management and requisitioning.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and facilitate technical Q&A between engineers and suppliers.
Deep understanding of Capital Expenditure (CapEx) vs. Operating Expenditure (OpEx), General Ledger (GL) accounting, and budget adherence.
Skills in managing tendering timelines and aligning procurement activities with broader project plans.
Mastery of the RFQ/RFP/RFI process, from drafting documents to final adjudication.
Skill in using digital platforms to store, track, and manage contract milestones.
Knowledge of the Local Chart of Authority (LCOA) and Risk and Control Matrices to ensure all spending is authorized.
